US Open WC Challenge begins

Nicole Gibbs, in her first tournament back after undergoing cancer treatment in May, reached the final and stands second.

On the men’s side, Bjorn Fratangelo, Chris Eubanks and Maxime Cressy are tied for top spot.

Arconada, born in Argentina, is at a career high No. 183. She was the No. 5 junior in the world four years ago and won the 2016 Wimbledon junior girls’ doubles with Claire Liu.
