Mum, student, Wimbledon champion

Serena Williams has been building her brand as tennis’s working mum.

Let’s give double props to Jordanne Whiley.

The 27-year-old Brit returned to the Wimbledon wheelchair event after giving birth to son Jackson.

Whiley and Yui Kamiji won the women’s doubles in 2017; Whiley  was suffering mightily with morning sickness.

And without the same resources, Whiley is competing, mothering a baby with the extra challenges of both parents being in wheelchairs – and studying.

She lost her opening singles match – to Kamiji, the No. 2 seed. Still the doubles to come.

Here’s a piece on her by the Press Association.
