Branson finally wins his own event

It turns out zillionaire Richard Branson only needed the help of a retired Canadian doubles star to finally win his own event.

Branson, the impetus behind the annual Necker Cup hit-and-giggle on his private isle in the British Virgin Islands, teamed up with Daniel Nestor to take the title on Wednesday over Kirk Long and Mike Bryan in the final

(Oops, that’s the “2018 Manuka Doctor Necker Cup presented by Metal”).

A group of well-heeled tennis players joined Bjorn Borg, Caroline Wozniacki, Tennys Sandgren, Genie Bouchard and others a week of fun, with a charity component.
