Stosur already prepping for 2019

Samantha Stosur turns 35 in March. And her 2018 year-end ranking of No. 72 is her lowest in 15 years.

But if anyone thought she was winding it down, the Aussie is already back preparing for 2019 on the outside courts at Melbourne Park.


(As a side note, it’s ridiculous how little real vacation tennis players take. A week a year? Maybe two? Most average workers get more than that, and they don’t depend on their bodies for a living).

Stosur and countryman Joshua Eagle ended their two-year coaching relationship at season’s end.

But she hasn’t announced a new coach.
