Hawkeye watches coming to Milan

The Next-Gen Finals have announced a new “official watch and timekeeper” for this year.

And with the addition of Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer, the umpires will get a nifty new toy.

The gadget? A Hawkeye Live … watch.

The Tag Heuer Connected watch will be linked to the Hawkeye Live system. That system goes well beyond being available for player challenges. It calls all the  lines, eliminating the human factor in that part of the sport.

It’ll be a pretty small screen, though.

The company also will provide the on-court clock and the serve clock.
