Nenad Zimonjic planning ’19 comeback

At 42, longtime doubles star Nenad Zimonjic has a goal.

He had bilateral hip surgery four months ago. And he’s working hard to get back to the ATP Tour in 2019.

Zimonjic, also the Serbian Davis Cup captain, has enlisted his old friend and doubles partner Marco Nesic (now of Croatia) to help.

Nesic, who coaches in Serbia, played U.S. college tennis at BYU and Hawaii, but didn’t have a pro career.

There’s plenty of video of Zimonjic’s hard work on his Instagram account, as his return is being chronicled in a planned documentary series.
