Tsonga first out of Wimbledon

Even if Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is the first to officially withdraw from Wimbledon, he likely won’t be the last.

The 33-year-old, who has fallen out of the top 50 for the first time since … Oct. 2007 (!!), has been slow to recover from knee surgery.

Early hopes had him back on the clay at some point.

Tsonga also pulled out of Queen’s Club.

He’ll drop out of the top 65, most likely.

We’re hearing Andy Murray is doubtful for the grass season, too, although he’s expected to make a statement about that later this week.
