Boris Becker: African Diplomat

Boris Becker is now a diplomat.

He announced on Twitter Friday he has been named “Attaché for Sport and Cultural Affairs of the Central African Republic,” whatever that entails.

Last week, he was given his Hall of Fame ring at a ceremony in Monte Carlo.

He’s head of German’s men’s tennis, signed an extension to commentate on TV, and was rumoured to be Alexander Zverev’s next coach.

Whoever his PR firm is, they’re underpaid.

Note how far, in three months, the Becker conversation has strayed from “Bankrupt Becker looking for lost Slam trophies”
