Laser lines in Long Island City

The Court 16 concept, a club “remixed for beginners of all ages” in Brooklyn, NY has just opened a second location.

And the new spot in Long Island City (just over the Queensborough bridge from Manhattan and right next to the iconic Silvercup Studios) is the first tennis club in the U.S. to use LED-illuminated tennis courts.

It gives the club the flexibility to configure the courts, which have cushioned-glass flooring, to whatever is needed that day – from mini courts to regulation-sized and even pickle-ball courts.

Coach Judy Murray visited, and gave it the big thumbs’ up.
