The embattled 49-year-old German accepted honorary membership from the Cambridge Union and addressed the elite educational institution’s best and brightest.
The Union is the oldest debating society in the world, and the largest student society at the University of Cambridge. It has over 70,000 life members worldwide.
The honor was announced on Twitter by his talent representatives, Kruger Cowne. Becker is in their publishing/media division.
