Tomic poised for a comeback?

Life has gotten real for Bernard Tomic in recent years.

But he appears poised to try a comeback.

Currently ranked No. 182, Tomic has played just one match since the Australian Open qualifying, at a Challenger in France last month.

But he has entered several clay-court events, including the French Open qualifying.

He also has entered the qualies at Budapest next week (but he’s 10 out), and at Istanbul the week of April 30. He’s already in there.

The Aussie also has entered the Madrid qualifying. But unless the entire main draw pulls out en masse, that’s a non-starter.
