Back to Back for Serena Williams

Serena Williams hasn’t played much tennis since the birth of daughter Alexis Olympia.

But next week, she’ll be bi-coastal in a hurry as the takes part in the first women’s Tie Break Tens event at Madison Square Garden Monday night.

And then, Tuesday afternoon, she’ll be at the 14th annual Desert Smash event at La Quinta, near the Indian Wells tennis site.

The charity event raises funds for the Yetunde Price Resource Center, named for Serena and Venus Williams’ late sister, who died during a drive-by shooting in 2003.

And then … will she play Indian Wells? We shall see.
