Super innovation at New York Open

There aren’t too many indoor tournaments remaining that take place in an arena large enough for two show courts.

But the inaugural New York Open (relocated from Memphis this year) is one.

And it has taken a page out of similar fan-friendly seating at the US Open to give patrons a nice perch to keep an eye on both courts.

All the while sipping a cocktail, surely.

They’ve built up a raised seating area between the main centre court and the No. 1 court. No doubt it will be a popular spot this week.
