Nicola Kuhn joins Challenger Kids’ Club

Last month, 16-year-old Canadian Félix Auger-Aliassime became the seventh-youngest player to win an ATP Tour Challenger.

Sunday, Spain’s Nicola Kuhn, 17, joined the group. Kuhn won the Sparkassen Open in Germany out of the qualifying.

His best win was over No. 80 Carlos Berlocq of Argentina.

Kuhn’s ATP Tour ranking leaped from No. 501 to No. 242.

Another Spanish kid, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina (a year older at 18), won the Wimbledon juniors.

It’s been awhile since Spain had some prospects. Good news for them.
