To the many reasons on-court coaching is just a bad look for the WTA, we add this in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands Monday.

A Hungarian player and a French coach arguing – at least it was in English –about why the player shouldn’t retire from her match.

“I don’t know why I play tennis,” says Timea Babos.

“Putain, c’est pas possible!” (” *&*#$^, it’s not possible!), says coach Thomas Drouet as he leaves the court.

Not sure how it adds to the “entertainment experience” to watch that. Babos lost to Dutch player Arantxa Rus 5-7, 6-2, 6-3.
